This song was written for Ronnie James Dio after his death. Certain members of the band were inspired by his music for a number of years, and we decided we would honour him in song.
The song itself is about a teenager who is shunned by his peers for not conforming to their ways but takes comfort in the music he listens too. It is non biographical, viewed from the perspective of a random member of the heavy metal movement.
